Q and A
What inspires you?
I'm inspired to be the best version of myself physically, mentally and spiritually. Surrounding myself with other motivated and positive people inspires me to get better in every aspect of my life and help others achieve their goals. That's why I got into coaching to help others because it brings me satisfaction being able to play a small part in other's successes.
Favorite body part to train:
Back is my favorite body part to train. The main reason is because it's such a big muscle group that I usually have to split my workout days up into a lat focus day and a mid/lower back day to properly train it. Without being able to see the back muscles work, it forces you to really have to achieve a mind/muscle connection. The focus required to train back properly really keeps me engaged the entire workout. A great back is the foundation for a great taper and physique.
Favorite cheat meal:
My go to cheat is a Burger and Sweet Potato fries. I can eat fish and asparagus all week knowing I have my weekly burger and fries coming. I usually do it post workout after a big muscle group like legs or back.
Best advice to give someone on their fitness journey:
The best advice I give new people is to hire a great coach early on or find somebody to mentor you to show you how to eat and lift properly. I find a lot of people have the will to get better and put the time in to grow, but they just don't have any focus or a plan and they end up wasting a lot of time that they could be improving at a faster rate.
What does Level Up mean to you?
Level Up means to always be striving to be the best version of yourself. My philosophy is simple, get better every day which brings you to a higher level. I like to tell my clients you either get better or worse every day, you never stay the same. It's hard to consistently make small gains without the proper plan and the grind to remain disciplined and consistent.
