My name is Diana Mazahreh, I was born and raised in San Mateo, CA. Some fun things I enjoy doing is spending quality time with my friends/family, traveling, singing and working-out. Throughout my childhood, I played basketball, track & field and cheer. After high school (2014), I was too comfortable and didn’t have anything to challenge me, so at 18 years old I decided to join the gym. In 2017, I started prepping for my first bikini competition, and I instantly fell in love with the sport. Throughout the years my knowledge and training has changed, so for 2020 I’ve decided to switch to the wellness division (more lower body mass). I’ve competed in 4 local shows and 2 national competitions. I have a huge passion for this sport because it’s not all about having the best physique, but the mindset, discipline and character that’s built throughout the process. My end goal is to be a Wellness IFBB Pro.

What inspires you?

What inspires me is my faith, family and friends. Fitness is a huge part of my life, but everything that I have accomplished wouldn’t be possible without my faith. I want my journey to empower women to overcome any goal regardless of the challenges they face: You are strong, you are beautiful, and you will overcome it. And the best part of this journey is that there are no limits, it's a continuous journey to level up.

Favorite body part to train:

My favorite body part to train is quads and shoulders. It can be brutal and tough, but I love to see how far I can push myself.

Best advice to give someone on their fitness journey:

My best advice to give someone on their fitness journey is to not be so hard on yourself. Fitness shouldn’t feel like a chore, but a lifestyle. It’s not about the scale or comparing yourselves to someone else, but a beautiful journey of growth. I encourage you to find a plan that is sustainable and works best for you. Write down your goals, find your why and take it one day at a time.

What does Level Up mean to you?

Level up to me means there is always room for growth; your current situation isn’t who you are. We can make a choice to change, to do better and be better for ourselves and our community. Right when my alarm clock hits, I think of ways I can improve myself. It all starts with our mindset and once we level up our mindset, then we can accomplish any dream or goal we have.
